Marble Cheesecake Brownie
by Bruce Weinstein
from "The Ultimate Brownie Book"
brownies100.jpg (5223 bytes)cheesecakes100.jpg (5359 bytes)weinstein.jpg (4164 bytes)Gooey, fudgy, or cakey, flavored with chocolate chips, coconut, or nuts, frosted or enjoyed as is, who doesn't love brownies? This is a wonderful recipe from Bruce Weinstein who has written an entire book about brownies. He says, "Here are the most decadent brownies we've ever made: A sweet cream cheese ribbon is swirled into the buttery batter for a treat that's rich, gooey, and still packed with chocolate."

The best gifts are the ones which come from the heart; the ones that warm the heart. Holiday Bean Soup is a wonderful homemade gift that will be loved.    This is perfect for your children's teachers, your post person, your friends at work.  It's also a great gift to make for any community service project- for scouting groups and church groups that want to give during the holiday season Bean Soup is an easy, simple and appreciated gift.   It is terrific as a way to raise funds for schools and other organizations.

Glitter Domes
glitterdome.jpg (6454 bytes)One of my favorite decorations for the holidays is the snow globe. I remember loving those snow globes that were so plentiful during the holiday season. I loved ( and I still do) shaking them and watching the colorful glitter fall to the bottom of the dome coating Santa or whatever figure was in the dome. It was like peering into a fantasy world. These make fabulous gifts for friends, family, teachers, or for yourself! The materials are simple to find. This is a super craft for children of all ages.
